The game has gotten a bad rep as a “cheap copy” of Drodos auto chess. Overall I play both and uninstalled Dota Underlords (sadly) since 3 games doing the same thing is too much.Īfter playing both games extensively (hundreds of matches in both) it’s my opinion that Chess Rush is superior in almost every way. Finally I like the "Fantasy" mode more than Turbo mode in CR, you get to do all kinds of crazy mechanics you wont be able to do otherwise.

Also DAC has better content creators on youtube, Excoundrel really does a great job teaching others how to play imo. Also riders and humans are too broken right now, they need balancing the way Gods did in DAC. DAC right now is also the more competitive game as there isn't as much going on and the heroes are small AF, you can clearly see what's going on pretty clearly unlike DAC where the combat is always a seizure inducing light show. Everything always happens a bit faster you can end a game 5-10 mins quicker than in DAC.ĭAC has better customization though, you can customize pretty much everything whereas in CR you have just 4 ugly avatars and the 2 chess boards.
For example there are 7 mechs/cyborgs in the game so it's easier to get the full synergy going. DAC is definitely more balanced but I like the synergies and tribes in CR more. However you can't deny the "Shine" and polish of CR is miles ahead of DAC the graphics, animation, voices and "mobile mechanics" are also ahead of DAC. I have played both Chess Rush and DAC extensivel and I like both.
